Before importing the add-on

Confirm that your Minecraft Bedrock version matches the project file. Keep the downloaded MCADDON filename intact and create a backup copy of the world. Do not mix files from Undertaletalelover's project with files from PnTMC's separate project.

  • Stable Bedrock build supported by the project
  • The complete MCADDON or required pack set
  • A new test world
  • Internet access if the selected project uses a remote AI/backend

Import and activate Verity

1. Open the downloaded .mcaddon file with Minecraft. On mobile, use the system share/open menu if Minecraft does not launch automatically.
2. Wait for the import success message. If there are separate resource and behavior packs, verify both appear in Settings.
3. Create a new world and activate the project's behavior pack and resource pack.
4. Enable only the experimental toggles required in the project instructions. Verity BE currently calls for Beta APIs.
5. Enter the world and run any current connection/setup command published by that project's author.

Troubleshooting Bedrock imports

If Minecraft reports a duplicate pack, remove or deactivate an older version before importing the update. If the add-on loads but its dialogue is missing, check Beta APIs, the supported game build and the project's backend status. Minecraft Preview may not behave like the stable version even when the visible version number looks similar.

  • Import failed: redownload the complete file from the identified project page.
  • Pack missing: verify both resource and behavior packs imported.
  • No dialogue: check required experiments and connection instructions.
  • Broken world: stop testing and restore the backup.

How to install Verity Mod Bedrock from an MCADDON

The first step in how to install Verity Mod Bedrock is selecting one identified project. Download its complete MCADDON from the project source, keep the filename unchanged, and open it with Minecraft. Windows normally launches Minecraft directly; Android and iOS may require Open with or Share to Minecraft from the file manager.

Wait until Minecraft reports that the import completed. Open Settings and confirm the expected behavior and resource packs are present. An import message only means the package was unpacked into Minecraft; it does not mean the packs are active in a particular world.

Create a test world and activate the packs

Create a new world rather than editing an important save. In the world settings, activate the behavior pack and any matching resource pack supplied by the same Verity project. Do not combine a pack from Undertaletalelover with one from PnTMC because the identifiers, scripts and assets belong to separate implementations.

Review the Experiments area and enable only the options documented for the selected release. Verity BE currently requires Beta APIs. Other toggles should remain unchanged unless the publisher explicitly needs them. This limited configuration makes it easier to undo the installation and report a reproducible problem.

Complete connection and conversation setup

Some Verity Bedrock implementations use a remote service for AI conversation. Follow the exact setup tutorial or connection command linked by the project author. Commands copied from comments, old videos or another Verity project may be outdated or may contact an unrelated destination.

If Verity appears but says only three dots, verify the connection step and check the project's support channel for backend status. If the dialogue interface never appears, recheck Beta APIs, the behavior pack and the supported Minecraft build. Separate import problems from service problems before reinstalling the add-on.

Fix failed or duplicate Bedrock imports

If Minecraft cannot import the file, confirm it still ends in .mcaddon and that the transfer completed. Browsers and mobile file managers sometimes append .zip or duplicate the extension. Download a fresh copy from the identified project instead of manually rebuilding the package from extracted folders.

A duplicate pack warning usually means an older version with the same internal identifier already exists. Back up worlds that use it, deactivate the previous pack and follow the publisher's update instructions. Removing random folders can leave a resource pack and behavior pack on different versions, producing missing textures or script errors.

Check platform and Minecraft version support

Bedrock runs on several platforms, but add-on import access differs. Windows, Android and iOS commonly allow local MCADDON import. Consoles have more restricted file access, so do not assume the same instructions work there. Use only a platform path demonstrated or documented by the chosen project.

Stable Minecraft and Minecraft Preview may expose different script APIs even when their visible numbers look related. Match the exact stable build listed on the project page. If Minecraft updates automatically, revisit the project before opening a valued Verity world because an add-on may need an update for the new API generation.

Update, disable or remove the Bedrock add-on

Export or duplicate the world before an update. Read whether the author expects the old packs to be removed, replaced or left active. Import the new MCADDON, verify the pack versions in Settings and test on the duplicate first. Do not delete the last working file until the new release has loaded successfully.

To disable Verity, deactivate its behavior and resource packs in a copied world. Scripts may have created entities, scoreboards or saved data, so uninstalling a pack does not guarantee that every change disappears. The untouched backup remains the most dependable recovery method.

Confirm that the Bedrock installation is complete

A complete test has four separate passes: Minecraft imports the package, the world activates every required pack, the scripts start without an error, and Verity responds according to the selected project. Check each stage in order. Reimporting the same file cannot fix a disabled behavior pack, and changing experiments cannot repair a corrupted download. This staged check is the fastest way to confirm how to install Verity Mod Bedrock correctly on a supported device.

How to Install Verity Mod Bedrock FAQ

Does the Java JAR work on MCPE?

No. Use a Bedrock add-on in MCADDON/MCPACK format.

Do I need Beta APIs?

Verity BE currently says to enable Beta APIs. Always follow the exact project and version you selected.

Can I update an existing world?

You can try after backing it up, but a new test world is safer because pack identifiers, scripts and experiments can change.
